Live Life to the Full

Because we are all individuals

Life at The White House is just as individual as the people who live here.

We pride ourselves in the high standard of care that we provide.  We believe that by actively involving our residents in the running of our Home and seeking residents' and family comments, we can provide a happy and comfortable environment for our residents.

Our team aims to promote a sense of well being within residents by encouraging independence and good physical, mental and emotional health.

Don't just sit there

There's nothing worse than having nothing to do. Residents are encouraged to continue to pursue passions and hobbies where practical and to explore new interests if the fancy takes them.

We have an Activities Coordinator who schedules our own full and diverse activities programme, including visiting entertainers, dancing, aerobics, skittles, board games.

If there is something you particularly want to try, we will do our best to make it happen, we want you to enjoy yourself, to be happy and fulfilled.

Enriching lives with our food

We encourage residents to take their meals in the dining room where residents can eat together and socialise in a relaxing environment, but understand that residents may wish to enjoy food when and where they choose to have it.

Our trained staff understand the importance of eating well and staying hydrated and supporting residents living with dementia to enjoy food in their environment. Meals at The White House are freshly prepared by our experienced chefs.

Menus vary from week to week and favourite dishes and special dietary requirements (finger food, pureed meals) can be catered for.

A selection of hot and cold drinks are served and available 24 hrs a day.
